The Professional Committee of Biostimulants of China Inorganic Salt Industry Association was Established

Recently, the China Inorganic Salt Industry Association issued a notice saying that the Biostimulant Professional Committee of the China Inorganic Salt Industry Association officially approved the establishment. The inaugural meeting and the first membership meeting of the committee will be held in Qingdao in April 2022. The Professional Committee of Biostimulants will participate in the 23rd China International Agricultural Chemicals and Plant Protection Exhibition from May 31st to June 2nd.

It is reported that the Biostimulant Professional Committee will adhere to the original alliance's tenet of "joint innovation, scientific experimentation, resource integration, cost optimization, and sustainable development". It is committed to leading the standardized development of the biostimulant industry, promoting the scientific application of biostimulants combined with fertilizers and pesticides in China to the international advanced level, effectively ensuring food production, reducing emissions and environmental pollution, improving food quality and safety, and increasing corporate and user profits, and finally create a world-leading Chinese biostimulant company.     

The China Inorganic Salt Industry Association issued a bulletin pointed out that, biostimulants as an innovative driving force in the fields of biocontrol agents, biological pesticides, chemical pesticides, nutritional fertilizers, and precision farming. It can effectively deal with the severe challenges of food shortage, environmental pollution, food quality and safety, which all caused by food crop production problems, climate and environmental changes, and excessive use of traditional agricultural fertilizers.

In recent years, biostimulants have become a buzzword in the industry. The huge market potential has made companies continue to increase product development and promotion efforts. With the convening of the fifth global biostimulant conference last year, the EU first confirmed that EU member states have included biostimulants in the EU's new fertilizer regulation 2019/1009 for registration, and at the same time made it clear that biostimulants are products that stimulate the entire process of crop nutrition and have four major functions, such as Improve crop nutrient use efficiency, enhance crop abiotic stress tolerance, improve yield and quality, and make full use of nutrients enclosed in soil and rhizosphere. In addition, the EU has clarified the four major sources of biostimulants, such as microorganisms, extracts, acidic substances and others.

The Chinese and Southeast Asian markets will become the regions with the greatest growth potential for the global biostimulant market. In recent years, with the support of relevant government departments and the joint efforts of enterprises, scientific research institutions, the development of biostimulants in China has established an alliance. It has greatly promoted the domestic biostimulant industry cooperation, product upgrade and analysis, industry-university-research cooperation, industry standard establishment, special conferences and exhibitions, ect. However, the Biostimulant Professional Committee of the China Inorganic Salt Industry Association was officially established, marking the establishment of a professional platform for biostimulants in China, to promote the development of biostimulants in China with organized and professional services, to jointly cope with challenges and to be in line with international standards.   

On March 1, the China Inorganic Salt Industry Association stated in the "Approval for the Establishment of the Biostimulant Professional Committee of the China Inorganic Salt Industry Association" that in order to promote the integration of inorganic salt industry and biostimulant industry and promote the sustainable development of biostimulant industry. After research by the association office, it was agreed to set up the China Inorganic Salt Industry Association Biostimulant Professional Committee to stimulate the biostimulant industry to develop in the direction of diversification, green ecology, quality improvement and efficiency improvement. So as to continuously improve international competitiveness.
